Drosera andersoniana

D. andersoniana is an erect growing species reaching up to 25 cm in height. A basal rosette is always formed before the stem emerges from the middle of the rosette. Leaves along the glandular stem may be solitary but are mostly in groups of 2 or 3.

The flowers are either white or pale pink

The tubers are mostly yellow, rarely yellowish white. I also oberserved some tubers with yellow-red to red colour. The yellow colour of the tubers is quite intense compared to other species with yellow tubers.
The combination of tuber colour, the habit to form a basal rosette plus the overall appearance of plant and the flower is very unique for this species which makes it easy to identify it when needed.
