Drosera prophylla

D. prophylla (D. marchantii ssp. prophylla) is a erect growing species reaching up to 30 cm in height. It has a large number of bracts at the lower part of the stem and white flowers (in contrast to D. marchantii: few bracts, pink flowers). The solitary leaves a scattered along the upper part of the mostly glabrous stem.
The tubers are white or pink. The flowers will open for several days and close during the nights.
